I'm Juliette, owner and founder of Oribi Organics - a South African natural skincare brand which was born in 2014 out of a desire to make my own natural and non-toxic skincare products.

Skincare products often contain unregulated & undisclosed toxic additives: sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrances, harsh preservatives, and cheap, non-nutritive petrochemical ingredients which can compromise our health and well-being.

Studies have shown that it takes just a few seconds for these unfavourable ingredients to be absorbed through our skin and eventually accumulate in the body's fatty tissue.  Some have been linked to cancers, hormonal disruptions, skin & eye irritations, skin allergies, dermatitis, respiratory stress, headaches and an overall weakening of the immune system.  

 

What we put onto our bodies daily is just as important as what we put into our bodies!

Oribi Organics provides affordable, eco-friendly, natural skincare products that utilise the incredible properties of botanical ingredients. Plant oils and butters provide cellular nourishment and natural active ingredients are added to provide important elements for the skin such as essential fatty acids, amino acids, vitamins and antioxidants to support its natural renewal process. We include essential oils in our formulations not only for their beautiful natural scents, but for the wonderful and unique therapeutic benefits they provide on a cellular level as well as their overall contribution to health. My husband and I have produced organic essential oils for more than 15 years. We've discovered the complex nature of these concentrated plant oils and extracts and how to utilise their natural goodness. We're passionate about working with these amazing plant extracts - they are a true gift from nature!
